Emily (Darby Camp) is a typical middle-schooler with a big heart. After being teased at school one day, she meets a magical man who gifts her a tiny red puppy named Clifford. She is told that Clifford will grow as much as she loves him, and one morning Emily awakes to a giant red dog in her room. Confused about what is happening, Emily and her uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) take Clifford to the vet. What they discover is that Clifford’s size speaks for his big heart, and together the trio set out on a fun adventure across New York City.
