Apartment 7A – In 1965 New York City, ambitious young dancer Terry (Julia Garner) dreams of fame and fortune, but after suffering a devastating injury, an older, wealthy couple welcomes her into their home in the luxury apartment building the Bramford. When an influential Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess) offers her another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are finally coming true. However, she comes to the realization that something evil is living in the Bramford. Debuts September 27 on Paramount+. Photo by Gareth Gatrell / Paramount+.
Nobody Wants This – An agnostic podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound walk into a party. When they walk out — together — the unlikely pair, Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody), can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families — including her sister Morgan and his brother Sasha. Debuts September 26 on Netflix.
Killer Heat – Private eye Nick Bali (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), an American expat in Greece, is hired to investigate the supposed accidental death of young shipping magnate Leo Vardakis (Richard Madden) on the island of Crete. The victim’s sister-in-law (Shailene Woodley) doesn’t believe the official police report. But what exactly happened to Leo, and why? Debuts September 26 on Prime Video.
Will & Harper – When Will Ferrell finds out screenwriter Harper Steele, his close friend of 30 years, is coming out as a trans woman, the two decide to embark on a cross-country road trip to process this new stage of their relationship in an intimate portrait of friendship, transition, and America. Debuts September 27 on Netflix.
Despicable Me 4 – Gru (voice of Steve Carell) and Lucy (voice of Kristen Wiig) and their girls — Margo, Edith and Agnes — welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (voice of Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend. Available September 24 on DVD and Blu-ray.
