In this teaser trailer for Spiral, the new chapter from the book of Saw, we meet Detectives Zeke (Chris Rock) and Schenk (Max Minghella) out on patrol when they are called to a crime scene with the remains of a corpse in a trap. As they are called to more grisly murder scenes, Zeke deduces that cops are being targeted. We then find police veteran Marcus (Samuel L. Jackson) investigating an abandoned building on his own as Zeke looks into the "spiral" calling card that is being left at each crime scene. As the tension rises, Marcus asks an unknown person if he wants to play a game while Zeke awakes handcuffed to a pipe with only a hacksaw there to free himself - a callback to the original Saw film.
