I liked Road to Avonlea when I was growing up.
When I was growing up I loved "The Avengers and had a crush on Mrs. Peel...today I really like the Bodyguard - very nice series
I find myself drawn to Mr. Bean which I loved as a kid and appreciate even more now. It's incredible how Rowan Atkinson can convey a story without speaking and only through physicality. The character is a complete boor but loveable for some reason. I like the episode where he goes to the dentist the most. He inadvertently turns on laughing gas that makes the doctor unconcious. No matter what the laughs were always consistent but the character subject of two feature films just didn't work on big screen primarily because he had the character speak in one of them.
Downtown Abbey is my favorite all times. almost no murders and no blood, almost no sexe and still interesting

Every Sunday night while I was growing up, we would make a giant bowl of popcorn and sit down to watch 'The Magical World of Disney' together as a family. It was a time we all came together and everyone enjoyed curling up for that hour-long experience together. We all had activities and responsibilities in our day-to-day lives, but it was the one night everyone (both young and old) made and effort to pursue that one shared living room experience. It came off the air in 1997 but many of our shared references today come from the movies we watched together as a family. And it's still my favourite show, despite it being long off the air.
